Standard I

Students will develop a sense of self.

(Good Health, safety, proper nutrition, physical fitness, diseases, harmful effects of tobacco, movement, express feelings and communicate ideas, writing, sing, art, pantomime)

Standard II

Students will develop a sense of self in relations to families and communities

(Family, friends, caring, responsibility, trust, respect, cooperating and sharing, community and culture, compare communities, goods and services, cultural experiences, recognize the value of service)

Standard III

Students will develop and understand their environment

(Environment, weather, seasons, rocks, plants and animals, life cycles, represent the environment, globe, symbols, scale, knowledge of the environment, writing, art, music, and movement, seasonal changes, parts make up a whole)
