Golden Spike Elementary's Turkey Trot is coming up on Friday, November 22nd from 9:20 am- 1:00 pm! The PTO would love and appreciate volunteers! 🦃🥧🏃
The following are ways they can use your help!
-Setting up 8:30 am: Carrying podiums outside, hanging up banners, getting microphone system set up,etc.
-Getting classes lined up and excited for their grade level race
-Taking pictures
-Filming each race to help determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners
-Holding up finish line

The following are the grade level and staff race times. If you are unable to volunteer, come join us in cheering for the students and staff! Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each grade level.

10:20 Kindergarten
10:50 2nd Grade
11:30 1st Grade
12:00 3rd Grade
12:45 Staff
The PTO will hold a separate Turkey Trot for the preschool on Monday and Tuesday, November 25th & 26th during their PE times.

Golden Spike Reminders:
Halloween Costume Parade: October 31 at 2:15 PM. Families are invited to watch! Costumes can be worn throughout the day, but please, no masks or weapons. Costumes should allow students to participate in a regular school day, and the school is not responsible for any costume damage.
No School: November 1 (Teacher Professional Development Day).
