From our BEHS student leadership: Box Elder High is inviting all to our community carnival! Please consider participating as this will benefit one of our own students Make-A-Wish! This year, we are raising funds to support the wish of a student in the Box Elder School district named Myklin, who suffers from cystic fibrosis. Myklin is a fun, energetic young lady with an infectious smile. You would never know she suffers from such a serious illness. We would love your support for Myklin.
-The carnival will run from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. on the night of the 11th.
- Tickets to enter will cost $5 for an individual, and $20 for a whole family.
- Games will be run by BEHS Clubs, and there will be candy and prizes at each of them.
- We will also have a visit from Santa and refreshments available.
This carnival is to support our charity drive for the Make-A-Wish organization as well as a Make-A-Wish kid from our local community. We would love to raise as much money for both as possible, so therefore are trying to get participation as high as possible.
If you would like to donate directly to Make-A-Wish, you can do so here.

Today is the last day for Santa's Secret Shop! Come join us until 5! Merry Christmas and thanks to our PTO and all the fabulous volunteers for sponsoring this event!

Reindeer day...so fun!

Wow, Golden Spike Parents! Thank you so much for your outpouring of support for our school and your students as you soaked in the Christmas spirit at last night's Christmas program! Despite having three separate events, we could not have imagined that we would have so many families participate! We appreciate your patience and understanding as we invited families into the school for a program of this nature for the first time since the school's inception. Our students are so lucky and I hope you felt the Christmas spirit. For future events of this nature, we are looking at additional sites that will accommodate the level of support and participation that we had last night! Please share any photos...we would love to see them and share in our yearbook! Thanks again for everything you do for your students. Go Spike Golden Eagles!

Hey Golden Spike, here is the PTO Newsletter for December. Thanks for all you do!

Some of the first graders disguised turkeys so they wouldn't be eaten on thanksgiving and wrote about their costumes. It was so fun! They are so creative! 🦃

Students sure did enjoy the first snowfall of the year! Be safe, stay warm and have a great weekend!

5th grade had so much fun creating our Balloons Over Broadway, in honor of Tony Sarg, the puppeteer who made Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade a reality.

We love using our super secret readers during SuperKids time! It makes it so fun to learn how to read!

Please join us for the Golden Spike Christmas Program. See the attached flier for details.

How fun are these gratitude tables!!! Mrs. Anderson helped our 4th and 5th grade students make 3D clay figures with all the things they are grateful for!

Remember, students are dismissed at 1:00 pm today. Breakfast and lunch will be served, however there is no preschool! Please be on time for carpool so we can send staff home to enjoy their break. We will see you back on Monday, November 27. Thanks for everything and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Interested 2-5 grade students will be participating in the Hoop Shoot today during their prep time. Wish them luck!

This information was also sent out to all preK students.

We had a great Veteran's Day assembly today. Thanks to all the families that were able to come and, most importantly, our veterans who model the great things that we want to emulate! Thanks as well to our PTO committee lead by Marissa Cook who put it all together. ❤️🤍💙

See the schedule below for our annual Turkey Trot! Parents are invited to come cheer the kids on!

Congrats to all our friends that made it onto the Gold Ticket board! We have completed a row and will be holding an activity next week! Keep earning gold tickets!!!
