North Park Parents,
This is just another reminder that our new carpool procedure starts Monday. If you have not received your carpool number, please call the school to get that. This does not change anything for kids who ride the bus or walk. Scan the QR code for more instructions. The "Hidden Word" drawing from the video will be done today around 2:30. Treat day for the hundreds of kids that turned in their Owl 10 Goal papers! Great work everyone. Later this month we will be doing some parties and drawings for certain goals that were met. There might even be some drawings for the parents that have logged volunteer hours on the sheets so stay up to date with your emails. If your student hasn't turned in their Owl 10 sheets before, that is okay, they can start with November. If you happen to not have a goal sheet, head over to our website and under "Parents" you can find our current goal sheet. Goooo Owls!

Huge shout-out to the North Park PTA and community for a successful Fun Run fundraiser! The kids had a blast and we appreciate the high school athletes coming to help out... now to find a comfy spot on the roof to spend the night. I'll be sleeping on the school roof Tuesday the 17th. FEAST!
Farmer's Day was a success! We want to give a huge shout-out to Shaffer Farms for donating the corn to the school. We also want to give a shout-out to the BESD Nutrition Department and our cooks for making this all possible. Last, we want to give a shout-out to the North Park PTA for helping us out with this event. Tomorrow we feast! ALL students will have the option to eat the corn during lunch regardless of if they bring a home lunch or not; it will be free. Goooo OWLS!

The fire drill and popsicles were a success today! We also did our first week of "Owlstanding Awards" for our students going above and beyond with our school rules of being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Keep working on your Owl 10 goals. North Park is the best! Gooo Owls!

This year we will have a STEM/Computer Science room where students will get to spend 30 minutes a week with their class. We are so excited for Emily Jolley to be teaching this class to all of our students K-5.
