Public Review and Input Opportunity: Proposed K–5 Math Curriculum Adoption

Box Elder School District invites parents and teachers to participate in the public review of the proposed Elementary Math Curriculum for Grades K–5: Reveal Math - McGraw Hill. This curriculum has been identified as the top-ranked vendor through the district’s curriculum adoption and RFP process. It is proposed for adoption beginning next school year.

As required by Utah law, a public review period will be held prior to any curriculum purchase.

Public Input Meetings

Members of the public may share input during the public comment period of the following School Board Meetings:

  • Board of Education Public Comment | Wednesday, May 13th | 6:30 PM | Adele C. Young Intermediate School 830 Law Drive Brigham City

  • Board of Education Public Comment | Wednesday, June 10th | 6:30 PM | Independent Life Skills Center, 960 S Main St, Brigham City

Independent Review at District Office (No Appointment Needed)

Curriculum materials will be available for public review at the District Office in the Curriculum Office, located at 960 South Main Brigham City

Dates: May 8, 2026 - June 9, 2026

Hours: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

No appointment is required. Please note that curriculum staff will not be available to answer questions during these times. If you would like to meet with someone, please schedule an appointment by contacting Heidi Ivie Instructional Support/Public Relations Administrative Assistant. 435-734-4800.

Board Review and Adoption Timeline

  • All public input will be shared with the Board of Education during the May 13th and June 10th Board Session.

  • Following this, the Board will consider adopting the proposed curriculum during the June 10th Board Meeting.
